Developments Around Filton Airfield: Further Update (2)

Bristol’s “northern” Neighbourhood Partnerships are hosting a Public Meeting at the Greenway Centre (Doncaster Road, Southmead) on Monday 17 February, 6.30 – 8.30pm: Meeting Poster

The Meeting will focus on the response that Bristol City Council is currently putting together to South Gloucestershire’s proposals to redevelop the area around Cribbs Causeway and Filton airfield. This includes the building of some 6,00 new homes on Bristol’s northern boundary and will include:

  • Traffic Impacts and improvements needed
  • Flooding impacts and improvements needed
  • Employment and planning issues

This is an opportunity to shape the City Council’s response to South Gloucestershire and to help get the resources Bristol needs to minimise the negative impacts of this development by ensuring the positive aspects are delivered for Bristol residents.
