Dog Poo Blitz

One of the priorities identified by Neighbourhood Partnerships across the city (including ours), has been to assess and reduce the level of dog-fouling in parks, open spaces and streets which have been identified as dog-fouling hotspots.

The job of coordinating this task has come under Hayley Ash, our Neighbourhood Working Coordinator, as outlined in her Report to the last NP Meeting on 10 March.

For our NP area, the hotspots that have been identified are the footpath through Canford cemetery, Canford Park, Westbury Hill and Russell Grove but there are bound to be more!

As this is a city-wide problem, Doncaster Road Park in Southmead is currently high on Hayley’s “hit list”, as reported in The Bristol Post:  Bristol Post Report
