Proposed Traffic Regulation Order for 20mph Speed Limit – Inner North Area (Phase 3)

The Council proposes to introduce a TRO for a 20mph Speed Limit in the Inner North Area, which lies within the Henleaze, Horfield, Kingsweston, Lockleaze, Southmead, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym wards. The Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the TRO is included in this link to the Council’s website: Phase 3 Roll-out The link also includes composite maps illustrating the current and proposed speed limits.

The Notice explains where further details about the proposal can be obtained and it also sets out the procedure to be followed by members of the public who wish to submit objections to the proposed TRO (see the ‘How to Object’ section, which can be found in the ‘Notice of Intent’). If objections are received and they cannot be resolved, they will be reported for the consideration of the Service Director Highways and Transport Management, who will decide how the matter is to be taken forward.

Objections have to be lodged by 29 May 2014
